When consumers read the specs of the Toshiba REGZA 55SV760U, they will be amazed at how an LED-based LCD TV can cost a lot less than most manufactured items that have the same features. This Cinema Series® LED TV can be said to be the best model Toshiba has ever produced in terms of image quality and design. The Focalight ™ LED Backlight System technology integrated with the local dimming feature will create a wonderful and stunning display of the highest appeal to the consumers.

The local dimming feature helps deliver deeper black levels and adjust the colors to be the most accurate without having to go on the extensive scale to get great picture adjustments. The technology also provides anti-blurring and anti-judder that reduces and removes stuttering and smooth out motion in the Toshiba REGZA 55SV760U.
The features in the LED-based LCD TV certainly prove to have better energy efficiency performance than the standard LCD TVs in the market. Consumers who are a fan of Plasma TV now have a good enough reason to switch their allegiance to the Toshiba REGZA 55SV760U that has the great black levels and solid video processing.
Although the 55SV760U has the same physical feature of the previous ZV650U models, consumers can see the prominent differences especially the external packaging where the 55SV760U can be seen to have a more distinctive futuristic look and feel. This model also has a thin transparent sheet that covers the whole display surface of the front panel that creates illusion. Consumers can see the illusion when the screen is viewed from the side where the display image will look like it was composed in one pane of glass. The frame around the display screen has silvery edges which fade subtly into black.
The 55 inch LED-based LCD TV may seem bulkier than the other LCD TVs in the market but the 10-bit LCD panel is definitely worth all the space and Toshiba has provided consumers with a strong and stable color-matching swivel stand that will be helpful to consumers should they need to turn the Regza 55SV760U around. The 1080p Full-HD display Regza 55SV760U comes with a big black and silver remote control. Although the buttons are quite in number, the labels are easy to read. The only downside is the buttons are not illuminated and maybe tricky to configure in the dark.

This Toshiba model also has other great features that allow consumers to tweak the display such as fine-tuning the 31-position gamma slider, RGB filters, settings locking, full color temperature controls and the control visualization window that shows consumers the brightness vs pixels graph. The back and side panels are both fitted with HDMI and USB ports, SD card slots with digital and analog audio outputs.

After months and months of research for looking at LED-LCD tvs i landed on this Toshiba REGZA 46SV670U. Originally i had been staring down the LG Infinia 47LE8500, but with a budget in mind went with the Toshiba.
While a comparison seems bleak, this Toshiba does not dissapoint as far as what i wanted out of a TV. Out of the box the picture is standard at best with a very dull and lackluster picture. It took me about 45minutes to get the TV to a crisp almost lifelike picture.
