The Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 is one of the latest Plasma 3D TV manufactured by Panasonic, a brand that has long known to be one of the best Plasma TV producers in the global market. With all the hype that surrounds the 3D TV was spurred by the release of “Avatar”, the critically acclaimed movie that made 3D the new way to watch movies. The Full-HD 3D Plasmas in the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 have created a new viewing dimension for the consumers to experience at the comfort of their living room.

The 54.1 inch diagonal plasma screen on the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 will place consumers inside the action with detailed realism during viewing. The obvious difference can be seen when the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 is compared to the earlier traditional 3D-compatible TV where the new model is created with integrated 3D glasses on the display screen so consumers do not have to buy and wear the glasses when watching a movie at home. The general color accuracy in THX used in the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 3D TV provides anti-reflective screen that will make the 3D experience more enjoyable.

The Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 has quite a simple design with no extra dimension for the external appearance except the glossy dark bezel color finish on the front panel, which can be found in almost all HDTVs. Panasonic kept their elegant design on the VIERA TC-P54VT25 by continuing with their high-end subtle look that comes with a similar oval stand to compliment the screen. The remote control design has also improves compared to the 2009 design where consumers will see a well backlit keys and larger “Menu” button. However, the remote control can only operate when in direct line of the TV’s infrared receiver on the front panel.

The key features that make the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 stand a head above the rest of the pack is its image quality enhancement which integrates short-throw phosphors to improve motion resolution. However, Panasonic made a brave step further by omitting the dejudder processing feature and LED backlight as the performance of the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 3D feature is already good enough for consumers.

Not only that, Panasonic also omitted the built-in Wi-Fi feature that has made other HDTV models a hit with the consumers. However, they have include a great feature to improve the performance of the 3D TV, a 94Hz fresh rate that enable the 3D TV to handle 1080p/24 content efficiently.

Like most of the HDTVs in the market, the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 has include media video streaming for viewing pleasure but only limited to providers such as the Netflix, YouTube and Amazon VOD. Other internet applications that can be used on the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 include Twitter, Skype, Stocks, Sports and Weather telecast with Panasonic’s VieraCast system. The picture setting in the Panasonic VIERA TC-P54VT25 is still a little bit below par compared to the other high-end HDTV models from rival brands but the connectivity ports are comparable or better than the other models that can cater even the gear-heavy home theatre systems.
